Bitcoin2026-10-10 14:01:05CoinDesk Research says BTC and ETH liquidity has rebuilt, while altcoin depth keeps fadingA year after the forced-liquidation shock of Oct. 10, 2025, liquidity in crypto markets has recovered unevenly, according to CoinDesk Research. The firm compared order-book depth on major centralized exchanges across four points in time — Jan. 1, 2025; Oct. 10, 2025; Jan. 1, 2026; and this week — and found that bitcoin and ether now show deeper dollar-denominated books than they did on the crash day or at either start-of-year reading. The report says that matters because the improvement is not just a price effect: with bitcoin trading at roughly two-thirds of its pre-crash level, deeper books in dollar terms point to market makers committing more capital. Altcoins show the opposite pattern. In CoinDesk Research’s altcoin basket, dollar depth has weakened at every measured point since Jan. 1, 2025. Depth 5% from price is down by about one-third to roughly $2 million, while 1% depth is down by about one-sixth. Spot activity also remains far below the levels seen around the 2025 sell-off. For the four weeks through Sept. 27, average weekly spot volume on centralized exchanges was about $279 billion, versus $801 billion in the crash week. CoinDesk’s researchers say the split now looks clearer: market-making capital has returned to BTC and ETH, while broad altcoin liquidity is still deteriorating.120
BingX2026-09-03 08:19:41BingX says its TradFi perpetuals lead peers in liquidity across key asset groupsBingX said it ranked first in TradFi perpetual contract liquidity across several widely traded global assets, based on the company’s own order book depth comparison of major trading platforms. The platform said the findings reflect its strategy of combining broader market access, deeper liquidity, and faster execution on a single multi-asset venue. According to BingX, its TradFi perpetuals lineup covers more than 500 assets spanning indices, equities, foreign exchange, and commodities. The company highlighted three sets of depth figures measured within 10, 50, and 100 basis point spreads: average order book depth in major commodities such as gold, silver, WTI crude oil, and Brent crude at 1.6x that of the second-ranked exchange; AI and semiconductor-related stocks including Alphabet, Broadcom, Micron, SK Hynix, and Intel at 1.7x; and benchmark names such as Apple, SpaceX, and Tesla at 2.2x. Chief Strategy Officer Kevin Lee said liquidity determines whether market access is truly usable when traders need to act. BingX also said it plans to expand its TradFi product matrix and strengthen liquidity in key markets.1030
RootData2026-08-06 06:58:48RootData data shows BingX with widest stock derivatives spread, XT.COM with lowest ±2% depthRootData’s ranking data for stock derivatives exchanges showed that, as of publication, BingX had the widest spread among the listed venues at 0.307%. Among the top 10 exchanges, XT.COM posted the lowest weighted depth within ±2%, at $210,500. RootData said the spread metric is weighted by 24-hour trading volume, with higher readings typically pointing to higher trading costs. The weighted depth within ±2% measures the order book depth for all stock derivatives on an exchange within a 2% range above and below the market price, also weighted by 24-hour volume. The maximum weighting for a single contract is capped at 30%. Lower depth readings usually indicate that large orders are more likely to trigger bigger price swings during execution.1860
